Sorry - cant contain it. Im sat here in a VERY unhorsey office and its all I can think about...

Hoping the weather holds so its nice for speccal-tating....and so the lady looking after my geegees backl at home has an easy time of it too!

WFP? Oh no! I sat beside him at Burghley some years back and was astounded at how rude he was to some young girls who wanted his autograph. They had been hanging around trying to pluck up courage to ask him, we could all see they were desperate to speak to him. he was downright rude. OK so he might be busy "entertaining" his owners but then, dont sit out in the main shopping areas where kids might want to approach you .... or maybe just wear a hat saying "bugger off, Im grouchy"...but dont snap at people, the big meanie.

I love the whole atmosphere - just CANNOT wait!
 
Keep looking at the weather forecast and hoping. Must dig out the tent and see if its still in one piece, else will be sleeping in the car!

(and hide the credit card...or write a shopping list and stick to it!)
 
on the one hand i can't wait, it'll be brilliant!

on the other, my horse hates it as we live so close there's soo much traffic piling past his field and stable all the time. It's just not worth hacking out now for a good 10 days!

and on the really bad side - i'm already in my overdraft and won't get paid before badminton - i think i may be borrowing the OH's card, but don't tell him!
 
I want to go go too but I would have to take the day off work (self employed so no pay) and drive there and back in a day, its a 260 mile trip each way from here. I would not mind driving I just don't want to drive on my own and all my friends who are going are staying down there for 2 nights

i really wanted to go but cant so will be watching on tv. met william FP at badminton last year and he was lovely! and i got his photo how sad. but on the other hand have just booked hotel for burghley! so will have to wait till then
 
Me too...cant wait. Going in my little caravan this year so even getting a bit of luxury living!! Fingers crossed that the weather is good!!

Me too, we are staying at Burghley on the Saturday night so I will have to wait until then I think.... not sure if my bank balance can handle Badminton at the moment

i cant wait either but might have to work Sat night so am gonna plead with boss to let me have it off as time in lieu (i worked a lot of saturdays for no money but time off at another date) or unpaid leave!!
 
Hes fine - been jumping and schooling - shoulder looks hideous but he reckons hes 100% fit and wants to enter for Ely at the start of June. I just worry about Bobs nuaghties in the dressage warm up - not sure his shoulder will hold out .... but I spose its 7 weeks away as yet...
 
Yes im exicted too.
I always go on xc day but one year plan to watch the showjumping too.
But yet again i left it too late to buy granstand tickets, theyve all sold out!
Maybe next year then!
