Very excited - new dog alert

My parents are getting a new dog on Saturday

He's a 10 month old chocolate brown Labradoodle, called Alfie Doodle. He's in the sanctuary because he was bought as a non-allergenic dog which unfortunately not all 'doodles are, so the family that bought him took him in for rehoming.

My mum saw him and despite wanting a) a b*tch and b) a small dog, it was love at first sight. She's been back to see him twice and has walked him so that he can get used to her gradually.

And on Saturday he's going home with them!

Am so excited - he'll be out hacking with me in no time

How lovely for your parents. Take lots of photos!

(My vet has a goldendoodle that came into rescue for the very same reason--because he has bushy Golden Retriever hair as opposed to non-shedding fur.)

we see a lot of the labradoodles and golden doodles in our practice and i love them!! didn't think i'd like them really at first as i'm not keen on poodles at all but they have the most fab temps the crosses.

Our last dog died 3 years ago, and even though I don't live at home anymore, I'm still only round the corner, so will get to see AlfieDoodleDandy lots
