Pointless post but have got to tell someone other than a rather reluctant hubbie.......Following my post yesterday I have agreed with the little grey horsey's owner to have her on loan.... Am over the moon, absolutely fantastic mare, has been there done it with a good BE record at Prenovice level and now looking for a quieter life and am looking forward to learning lots with her and just enjoying some nice hacking.
After finding out that my poor lad has a very poor prognosis regarding collapsed heels I have decided to retire him and have convinced my long suffering hubbie that there is no point having 2 horses I cant ride so might as well get a third one.... hehe. I think my old boy will love having another friend as well and cheer him up.
She comes next Tuesday. I advertised on horse quest for one on loan (just dont have the hard cash up front to buy one outright at the moment) and had loads of enquiries so good tip for anyone who is looking for a new friend....
