After a string of bad events, falls, naughty pony purchases and horrid dealer dealings. leading to an all time confidence low... I have finally found a beaming fluffly light at the end of the tunnel. She is a 9yo, 15.1(and a bit) grey bundle of confidence giving happiness!!

I would love to know what breed you think she is too :)...

Congratulations! Isn't she passported as Polish Warmblood? If so, I would say she is either a chunky version of Maloposki or a Silesian cross of some sort, I think nowadays they are called Polish Sports Horse, though :)

She sure is Martlin, but we arent 100% - do you think she fits the breed? I guess we were comparing her to Frecks who is a more TBxWB bloody type :D I am thrilled for you my lovely friend :D

OOh that's interesting Martlin, thank you, yes that is what she is passported Polish WB, was brought over as a 3 year old apparently but if you didn't know that might think a Connie X. She has the best temprament so whatever she is I am very happy!!!!

Do you have any breeding details at all? Problem with the new (post 2004) passports is that they are all under the blanket of Polish Warmblood... it takes a bit of looking into a pedigree to determine the actual breed.

Aww she looks beautiful. I can definately relate to you with reagrds to dodgy dealers etc and horses that dented your confidence some what.

Well done for finding a good sort! Good luck!

She seems typical to me as a polish WB. both in her looks and temperament

She is lovely!!

I have a Czech WB and they are very similar in type of breeding

Aw, thank you all, I am just soooooooooooo happy at last after frankly an awful last 18 months!! Very interesting to hear all your positive views on being bred as passported, that's good enough for me, thank you. Martlin nothing on passport so anyone's guess really I suppose but thanks for your input. And may I also add a big thank you to Winklepoker for finding her for me xx

She's lovely , glad you didn't give up after your run of bad luck , I had the same experiences as you and i nearly threw in the towel , but paddy was my ' last chance saloon ' and he's just the best, so good luck to you , i hope you both have a very happy future!

Thank you Paddy Irish, we obviously got to the same place then!! I somehow just couldn't give up after owning and riding all my life except for the recent 10 year gap and at least want it to be my decision to retire gracefully at some, hopefully far distant chosen point, not have it forced upon me by giving up due to a run of much bad luck. If things continue in this vein I will still be pottering about with Poppy for many years to come :-)

It's fascinating to see the differences and I guess as they are all under one title it is quite different from all our individually named mountain and moorland breeds over here, each one with distinctive characteristics, but if you know all the breeds under the heading Polish Warmblood it is just the same really, each quite different. But as you stated earlier Martlin perhaps what Soulfull and most of us know is the Polish Sportshorse type most generally seen over here? Anyway, no matter, she is lovely and that's what really matters. Thank you all again though for your kind words and thoughts

She's very, very pretty and you look really good together, congratulations and wishing you many happy times together!

Aw thank you, pleased you think we suit each other, I think she's just right for me and we now need to get fit together and polish up our skills too - lots of fun ahead and happy hacks I'm hoping :-)

Yay!
She is lovely!! Am so pleased for you, you two look very suited to one another!
Heres to many years of fun for the two of you :)
