Very impressed with Westgate Labs!

Decided to try worm egg counting this year.

Took the sample yesterday morning and popped it in the post. Just had a text with the result only 24 hours later!

On an even better note, his result was <50epg, no eggs seen. I'm assuming this means he doesn't need worming?

Yep no wormer needed and they send you another poo sample kit out with a paper report, I was also impressed with speedy results

Correct me if I'm wrong but you still need to worm for encysted red worm and tape worm in spring and autumn. These don't show up when you have a worm count done.

I use Westgate and am really impressed with how quick they are.

Westgate are fab, I've used them for years and really rate their service. I also worm for tape worm once a year and red worm as they don't show up in worm counts. All 3 of mine have always been 'no eggs seen' over the years which is a comfort but I also poo pick every day and have an established herd and know their history.

They are really good and I always get my results the next day, I had a no eggs seen result two weeks ago, so decided to worm with equitape which is just for tapeworm.
