Hello,
If some of you have read my previous posts you'll see my mare has been off for almost a year with lameness in her front feet, then when she started ground work we got seedy toe in both front feet so we were back to box rest. We have just come back into walking in lunge and hand walking. So she's not done much at all this year.
Seemingly overnight she has had a hard lump about the size of a satsuma come up on her belly. The lump does not move and neither is it painful when you palpitate it. It is however incredibly itchy for her and as it's in a spot she can't reach she is very keen for you to itch it for you and if you stop itching she nudges you to say 'carry on please'. I feel bad for her as she's obviously desperate for it to be itched. Has anyone come across a lump like this before? I will be getting out the vet anyway but I'm just curious.
When my phone is charged I'll come back and post a picture of it.
