very itchy horse

as title says, my mare as suddenly become very itchy.
she wouldn't leave me alone this morning,she just wanted me to scratch her tummy.
as i was doing this i noticed she as a few lumps on her belly.
i don't know what it is, i have rang vet,but they have not got back to me yet.
i have not changed her feed. she as been on pergolide for about three months now, so wondered if it could be a reaction.
any ideas please.

she is rugged, but only as a lightweight rug on with no filling,

NO, i have checked her for them, she as never been like this before, i have had her 19 year.

Not sure if this might be the same as my shettie he as been on pergolide for around two months he is also very itchy, i looked for lice and nothing but since he as the typical shettie coat i treated him for them anyway and he is still itchy.
Makes you wonder if it could be a side effect of pergolide ?

no she is feed safe and sound, i have 2 horses,the other 1 is fine,

Pergolide is for Cushings isn't it? I thought itchiness was a recognised side effect of Cushings in some horses?

Maybe worth asking for some Seleen to bath her in. We have a cushings horse on the yard on pergolide, very itchy has regular seleen baths and minimal rugs and quite content.

is itchiness a side effect of this supplement? I feed it to my two but neither of them are itchy.
