I have tried different websites and a google search but it is difficult as the title is missing

All I know is it is written sometime around 1901-1905 (approx) and is by L G Hawker.
A search for his name brings up things but not this book

In it says things like

'Of leaving horses to dry by evaporation
We cannot close this chapter without warning owners of horses against the common practice of idle servants leaving the horses after exercise in the moring to dry by evaporation, whilst they get their breakfasts and indulge in a pipe afterwards.' :D

This is an amazing book for seeing things as they were at the turn of the century.

I've tried in vain to find this for you :(

When I was looking for a very specific book a used a very good bookshop - they found it for me and bought it, with no extra charge to myself!!

Have you heard of barter books in Alnwick?

http://www.barterbooks.co.uk/

They have a HUGE archive of books AND a massive section dedicated to older books. If you live local (ish) I would strongly suggest a trip. They are very helpful and knowledgable - worth a call to see if they can help :)

If you do find the book you are looking for through them, I do not mind picking it up for you
