After being so so poorly, James is now back in work. I took him out for about his 4th hack on Sunday and in true TB fashion he's finding it way too exciting to be out and about again. He jogs and throws himself about or walks at one zillion miles an hour! Now, because when he was ill he lost shed loads of weight I haven't clipped him at all (so he didn't use any of his condition to stay warm) so he's woolly but is now nicely covered, has a belly and is looking really healthy.
So imagine how annoyed I was I overheard from two other riders while I was out on him comments like 'Look at the state of that...horse should be clipped right out.....some owners have just no idea......get a chill if not careful.......'
I've bought this horse back from the dead, he shouldn't be with us let alone bouncing his way round the countryside. He was only sweaty for gods sake, there was no white bl**dy foam on him (can't say the same about his mouth however!).
Why did the feel the need to say anything or they could've asked me directly but no, lets just make assumptions.
Really annoyed me that did. Shame neddie was too excited for me to stop and give them a mouthful.
Right Thankies people - RANT OVER!!!!
