Took Caspar to aintree unaffilliated on saturday for the clear round. This is the first time he has been out to a show. He travelled really well, and stood taking in the sights whilst i tacked him up!
Then got on, was a little wary of going in the collecting ring. *bless him!* Worked in well, then went to do the clear round. Nice little course, but with fillers (which he'd never seen before!) He froze when he was in the ring and trotted over most! He ran out at the second part of the double, but he had only jumped a double twice before.

Finished the round well.
Took him in again, and he was fab

canter the whole way round, not fazed by any of the fillers, and on a good rhythm, went clear!

So any ideas on why it wont work!?
 
Aw how lovely, how wonderfully rewarding for you! The learning he did that day! What a sweetie, I bet he slept well that night and I bet he is still digesting it all somewhere in the back of his bonce!
 
It's lovely to see babies improve over 2 rounds like that isn't it. The first time they seem to be saying - hang on, what on earth's going on here. Then the second time it's - oh yes, this is fine, I've done this before. You can actually see and feel their confidence increasing.
Is the file too big for Photobucket (think they have a 100mb limit). Or it could be in the wrong format? I'm no expert though - I can only upload tiny files to YouTube
 
I have tried, but will have another go! I want to post it so that people can give me feedback on how he's going for his age. He is the first youngster ive had, so would love other peoples opinions!
Think the format is wrong. Photobucket just says encoding then sticks at 50%.
