I know this wont sound like a big deal to all you clever people out there - but my daughter did her first Hunter Trial today, and she went round CLEAR!
I am SO PROUD of her and her pony, they did a schooling session on the course a couple of weeks ago, it didnt go very well, she found she had no brakes, and ended up galloping round the course missing most of the jumps because they were going so fast they were just a blur!!!!!
But today, her pony was as good as gold, and he really looked after her, as she was struggling to ride with a swollen and bruised foot after he accidentally stamped on it and ground his road nails in for good measure a couple of days ago!
So, not exactly Badminton, but looked like it from a worried Mum`s point of view!
