Well me and my pony have had a rather interesting weekend / monday & tuesday.
First of all, took him to his 3rd show and we won the best condition youngstock (2 & under) and came 2nd in the Youngstock mountain and moorland class
Well chuffed!!
Hes come on such a long way since I got him!!
Then on monday evening after work I though, right im going to try a roller on him and see how he reacts... he did nothin, just stood there like hed done it a million times, and then I thought right ill just try my old saddle just to see how he reacts, so I put that on... no reaction again, So then i put the girth on and tightened it, not too tight, just enough pressure to keep it on and not slip (as the saddle does not fit him at sall obviously this was just for testin purposes lol) no reactin again just happy away
So then i took him for a walk round the arena so he could feel it move, and once again nothing just happy as ever!!
Will try this again in a couple of months
Also leant over him and tapping his belly (Im pretty tall so can do this without putting hardly any weight on him) and hes fine just turns his neck and sniffs!! will be trying again in a couple of months and then leave him till spring next year!!
So proud!!
