Very quick question for BE people!

Hi just a silly question really, I just joined BE and was wondering if non BE number bibs are ok to use? I think mine is a Shires one and I just was not sure if the BE one is a special size or something? Also do you get your number at the event?
You can tell I am new to BE! Thanks for any help! :)
 
Doesn't matter where your bib comes from, as long as it fits an A4 number in.

You will get your number from the secretary's tent when you arrive :)
 
OOh, have you got a medical armband? That's the other 'essential' ;) and you know that you will also need to get your hat 'tagged' when you pick your number up?
 
Thats great thanks. Yes buying a medical armband as want to be sure it is right (the details inside it) as I have heard pony club ones differ slightly and yes know about hat tagging.
I can buy my horse ticket and armband now, exciting times! Thanks for your help!
 
Dont forget your horses passport as well, making sure your vaccinations are up to date. Some events are very strict on them being shown and checked by a vet, some dont ask, and they wont let you compete now matter how hard you beg - I've seen it first hand with a friend at Stockland Lovell for one. Just keep it in your jacket pocket or bag, and take it with you to the secretarys tent when you pick up your numbers. If you are asked, fine, if not then fine.
