I picked OH held down
Was a tiny little head like a big blackhead but raised. OH sqeezed behind it. and then I pulled it out.
So basically it was we think the ticks head at the top then a scab behind it about the size of the average tick body (yes relatively massive)
Then behind that was a ball of puss. So we think the tick head got left in then got infected but the puss couldn't escape so went hard and then there was still puss behind it.
Anyway the whole thing was about 1cm long and about the circumferance of the average tick!
All came out through a tiny hole, so glad I picked because a)it must have been very painful and b)I dread to think how long that infection would have gone on and how big it would have got.
We will clean it and keep an eye on it. But Urk!
We tried to take a pick but not enough detail to see what we could with magnifying glass
