I had a really good weekend with my horse, we had two great lessons in flat work and jumping, then I came home to find my old dog was having a really bad fit, I managed to calm him down but hes just kept trying to get up. we took him to the vet last night and had to have him put to sleep, im guted ive had him since I was 6years old I dont have any brothers or sisters so I literally grew up with him!

he had a good life and was 17 so lived to a good age, im going to miss you boy RIP chester geroge.

big hugs ((( )))
My mum lost their dog 2 years ago he wasn't even 2 and was a border collie. He developed fits which got worse in a very short time. After trying to sort out medication for him that was obviously not working he ended up staying overnight at the vets one night for observation and suffered a major fit and died

Funny you should put that post. My brother's dog was a lab x collie x dalmatian, he started having fits and was PTS 18 months ago at the age of 2. His name was also Chester. Horrible to see a normally nice natured dog fitting to the point that they will bite their owners as they don't know what they are doing. RIP all 3 Chesters x
