I few will remember who I am talking about.

I found out today that he has broken his leg and will most likely be put down on Monday. Apparently he can only be a companion if he is lucky.

After all the problems I had with him (and people on here saying I should have him put down as he was so dangerous) he has gone on to do incredibly well. In very experienced hands he has this year won or come second in every prelim/novice BD comp entered and came second in his first elementary.

He won his first ODE.

He was a brilliant if challenging horse. What a waste.

Sending vides to you Fal......

Oh no!!!!

What a terrible shame Laura. I have always wondered how he got on. Lovely to know he went on to have a successful time, but devastating to hear things have turned out so tragically for him.

That is terrible news, lzt. You really cared for him, and gave him so many chances when he was with you, and found him the very best home when eventually you called it a day. It is a very sad thing indeed.

I remember Fal very well indeed - what a tragedy that this has happened to him just when he was beginning to prove himself

Fingers crossed for the best possibly outcome for him, big hugs xxxxxxx

This is so sad, I am so sorry to hear this. I am not familiar with the trouble you have had with your horse but regardless of that fact he is a living, thinking being and I pray he will be alright and go on to be a companion.

Oh Louise what dreadful news.

I was so pleased when you said he was doing so well in his new home. It seemed he had at last been able to prove that he was capable of better things then he subjected you too. You gave him so many chances too.
I hope he somehow manages to get through this and continue to do good things. How on earth did it happen do you know?

Oh how sad, I remember reading about your progress with him and when you decided to sell him. He is a lovely horse and so obviously talented. Sending vibes for Fal and hugs for you...

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I have only seen him once I sold him (over a year ago now), just heard second hand how well he has done.

It is tragic, fingers crossed for him.

I'm so sorry to hear this, I remember your ups and downs with Fal very well. You broke your hip coming off him the same day I came off my girl and dislocated my shoulder
