i have two plugs on my trailer- one for the outside lights and indicators and then one to charge my leisure battery... today the 2nd one fell out when i was driving and has got scraped on the floor so is now bent and wont fit back in the socket on my car...thing is are they easy to replace or do they require wiring up? the plug itself seems fine but the casing is just bent

Very easy - just go to a car spares or caravan shop and buy a new plug.

10 minutes with a screwdriver - the cables are all colour coded and the new plug will come wiht a card that tells you which colour goes to which screw.

Should be very easy
We were taught to wire plugs in a yr 10 physics class
