very soggy medium debut @ Moulton BD, report avec pics:

I wondered if it was you. Watched your medium as had to wait for scores.
That boy of yours is going to be very very good one day. :D
My OH had lets just say not the best day (Crumpwell Revelation). Almost ended up in Harry's lap after the left half pass in trot. Slight disagreement on turning at C.
Is moulton going to be a regular venue for you?

ooooh Juno you should have shouted :)

more clues as to your OH needed though, was it the bay that went in before me? if so-we loved the half passes in the warm up, loads of shoulder freedom :) shame wouldnt play ball in test.

semi-regular, i really like it there, the organisation as much as the surfaces, the girls do a fab job. None of my free weekends seem to fall on the sundays Moulton are running in March or April, but will try and get back there in the summer as its always worth the journey. Will you be there a lot?

and thank you, nice to hear im not too rose tinted about CS lol!!!

14.1hh welsh D chestnut mare. Pretty unique at that level and normally very consistent. Won Adv.Med on last outing and has won last 4 mediums but was having a real off day yesterday. Spooking at everything and even a bronc moment in the warmup. Feeling far too good I think.
We go to moulton quite a bit as just 10 minutes from us.
Def think CS is one to watch. He's a big lad and just looks like he needs to build more strength. When he does will def have a certain wow factor. :D

Thats because they messed the times up.
My OH was on at 13.30 and the next competitor not until 14.06. We did wonder why no one else was warming up while we were.
OH only needs 3 more points from a qualifier for medium regionals. This will be her last medium regionals as almost out of points.
Good to hear Harry (judge) said same thing re strength. Just proves some of us showjumpers do know a little bit about flatwork. Probably comes from spending the last 6 years acting as groom / lorry driver at BD.

oooh good luck, you should get them easily, got lots of time left :)

im hoping to do regionals at elem, and i guess if he gets a couple more 65's will be able to do them at medium too but wont be chasing that one as will be a year too early to really show himself off at that level i think???

it was my sister and OH who were with me, think she was giving him tips all day, he can now tell difference between leg yeild and half pass and knows what a walk pirouette is, bless him!!!

Well done! that is such a fab start to the year and he looks stunning!! :)

Btw, what physio/ chiro do u use? as i think i could do with a check up maybe as have never had one before and my left leg sometimes feels like it needs clicking into place. :S
Also, how long does it take u to get to moulton?

rowy-london road chiropractic in leics. £55 for first appt, £30 after that.

generally takes us an hour and ten mins to get to moulton but i always allow an hour and half in case of crap traffic on the A14.its worth the journey, the surfaces and organisation are fab.
