Seeing as I bought Governor 3 years ago as a very green 3 1/2 year old, I thought I should reconsider how much I have him insured for. I have no intention of selling him, but still any estimate needs to be realistic!

I know there's loads of these but i'd appreciate any honest input. I've been as honest as possible about him.

His stats - 16.2hh, 2000 Dutch Warmblood gelding.
Carries the Zangershiede brand but has no papers.

Good in all aspects - will clip, shoe and travel with no problems. Can be a little bolshy to handle when fit or has been stuck in for a bit. No vices. Friendly, affectionate and a bit of a character.

Goes in a loose ring lozenge snaffle at all times (pictures in pelham as they are most recent), very good to hack in company and sensible on roads but can be slightly nappy when going out alone.

Lovely natural paces and jump. Working well under saddle at Novice level at home and scores in the high 60s to 70s for Prelim dressage. Good lateral work, basic flying changes and shows good potential for extension/collection. Has a good work ethic.

Not done much jumping recently but very sane and very tidy, plus he loves it. Showing 'potential' for XC in the field (passtimes include jumping up and down the bank complex in the field), has been very sensible over ditches, logs and tyre jumps when ridden.

I'm not sure of an actual price but I'd say not a lot (£4 or 5,000 maybe?). The reason being, although he looks nice enough, he doesn't seem to have done anything.
What is his actual BD record and BSJA record?
Although he carries the Z brand, he has no papers to get an idea of whether his parents are proven which is fine IF he has proven himself, but he hasn't done anything!!! (unless you just didn't put it?).
At almost 7, he should have quite a lot of affiliated competition under his belt with good results to fetch a higher price.
