Hi everyone,

We have a stunning 7yr old, 12 hh very well bread British Riding Pony who was brought as a first pony; however a year down the line it is very obvious that this is not going to be where his job lies.

He does not look like a pony because he is put together like a miniature horse. He has a lovely action, amazing jump and needs to do far more. He’s not suitable for showing as he is a half way house between a show hunter pony and a working hunter pony. He is a cheeky chap who will take advantage of inexperienced riders; he throws the odd buck and can be a bit spooky out hacking.

We are trying to sell him or find a small rider to take him on, produce him and compete him.. our problem is finding a small enough rider that could do this for us. I personally believe that he would be a perfect 128 show jumping pony but does anyone know where you can find such riders?? Thanks a lot x

Local PC- when my sister was 10 we'd have liked a very talented 128cm pony because she wanted to jump more but was tiny.

where in Hampshire - I have a similar pony who is 12.2 although she doesn't spook or buck. I have a girl riding her to keep her worked while I sell her who is a great rider and 14. She is very slight so could ride small ones.

We would preferably like to sell him, but if the right loan home came up we wouldn’t say no. The most important thing is that Trebor is happy and continues his education.. i can send you some photos of him if your friend is interested?
