Very tentative hello

I seem to have caused quite a stir on here for some reason, however after reading on here and chatting to a friend over lunch I have decided to book myself in for some riding lessons at a very nice place about an hour away.

They have schoolmasters there and will give me one to one lessons.

It's a stunning place called Oldencraig, anyone know it? The lady that will be teaching me has been to the Olympics.

Ok well done but thought you were going to another place this afternoon to see about loaning an RS horse 2/3 days per week.????

Hmmm I smell a rat or is it a Fox!!!

I must have missed the stir but just to say Oldencraig is a very attractive centre, it's a pleasure to compete there.
I also went for a lesson there with V. Thompson a couple of years ago and def learnt a bit so I am sure you will have fun

I'm not far from Oldencraig so if you want some company let me know. I know Seahorse had the chance of a free lesson there, not sure if she is going or not but if she is i'll let you know.

Are there a lot of foxes near Oldencraig then, does it smell of fox poo?
Sorry not understanding this comment? Is it a horsey term I should know about before my lesson?

SEER,

That sound like a sensible idea, good luck with your riding.

you could also see if they do stable management lessons too.

lol, no, they think you are the reincarnation of a fox... from farthing wood... I wonder if that is near Oldencraig?

In spite of everything it does sound like you have listened to some advice

dispite your wierd posts I wish you well with your new venture and hope that you will take things slowly rather than with a "bull in a china shop" approach
