Very tentative hello

*Troll laughs smugly to herself as the HHO members fall over themselves to see what she will say next.....*

Really???

Ok so I can’t be bothered to read all the replies but just wanted to say I did a jumping clinic at Oldencraig last Monday (yes I know they are known for their dressage) and it was fantastic. Definitely going to do another one! I had a lovely instructor called Anna Griffith (I think that’s how it’s spelt) and she was brilliant. Me and Bodey got a lot out of it, and it was great to ride in such a big, well kept school.

Have fun, and maybe I will see you there one day?

if seer is genuine then a lot of you have been very mean, if shes a troll then she deserves your meaness, i still cant quite make my mind up whether someone can be so nieve(sp) but to mention how rich she is and being a widow is something that should be kept to herself.
hurry up and lets find out if she is for real or not.

What drama on the HHO forum. Maybe we'll get into the mag, we just need someone famous in on the act, like Carl Hester on the BD forum...
Then again, maybe not, we don't want to draw this post to the attention of admin methinks!

PMSLROTF!!!!

Oh dear I think I would like to breath at some point...... too busy laughing.

Need tea ( again)

Head still hurts and I actually have done some work today.... oh no I have to go back to work this evening..... I dread to think how many pages we will be onto when I get in at 1am

Lol - well this thread has been interesting to read over the past hour or 2. I decided Seer was a troll when she called all of us 'special needs' on the soapbox forum . . . the mention of Parelli in another thread and Dubarry boots and Oldencriag in this thread just shows she knows which buttons to push . . .

Hello Seer

Welcome to the forum.

Hi everyone. I have popped on here now and again to catch up on the posts on this post. I do not want to get involved in the troll business I really don't mind.
grin.gif
It has amused me as I've read through the posts as by all of your posts it has most of you?
grin.gif
Admit it

I've had a giggle and it's lightened my day so think about it. It's amused most of you. So why not just welcome Seer to the forum. You all know you look for a posting thats got a few pages to it and view it first. Why? to have a laugh or help if you can? So lighten up everyone

Ok i have read these posts with interest & amusement! But have yet to comment. Seer... Why would you think this is the only place to learn about horses? Im fairly new to this site & the info & people are great(allthough i do not know them personally) however i have owned horses for 5 years before i even found out about this site... so what brought you here? To begin with i had been having lessons for 7 years before i owned, i also read every book about horses i could lay my hands on, have spent every spare moment involved in horses from the ground awell as in the saddle.
Instead of Intentionally/unintentionally (delete as appropriate)
winding users up on here. Why dont you go & buy some books, in no time at all you will have grasped some fundametal basics & wont then come across in such a farcical manner.

Hello there. How could someone so unhorsey know about us humble HHOers? We are famous guys! Anyway, good luck seer, get some more lessons and you'll be away. But don't buy a)anything under the age of 6 b)an ex racehorse just off the track (LOL) or c) anything too fancy. And, if you are genuine, have fun. And if you're not, well, we all had fun posting. I'd like to be an addict in status rather than just enthusiast and your posts have helpe me along the way to achieving that dream. So congratulations.

Beth - PMSL at your last post!
XD
And SEER - I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but the post about the Dubarry's really did it for me, and the bit about the man and your lawn.
No-one learns to ride who can just trot at Oldencraig.
Not last time I checked anyway.
I'd love to believe you're genuine, but I just can't.
Go home.
Go to sleep.
And come back and apologise when you're mature enough.

This is all very amusing.

SEER is clearly an old hand with horses who knows all the buttons to push to set off a row. There are those who can see SEER as she/he is, and those who are vehement in their defence of what is right and proper. Those who see, are amusing, sarcastic and patronising, which is proper conduct. Those who dont, are worried re offence caused to an innoccent. Who need to acquire both common sense and a sense of humour.

I think SEER is really "see her".

<<<pours another glass and waits for hilarity/indignation in equal measures

I could try it too! And yes...those missing letters from welshrarebit.

Example;

Hello everyone! I am new here and wanted to say hi. I have been having riding lessons for six months, and have been learning a lot (see how it starts off all sensible-like).
Tomorrow I am going to look at a 3 year old freisian stallion to buy as he looks just like the horse on the bank advert! (see what I did there)

And no its not me LOL

Not as SEER - give it a few days and we'll come across another ridiculous/silly/naive/irritating post from a 'new member' for us to ponder over.
