Very Thin Mane

My 4 year old appaloosa x tbcob has such a thin mane and tail it is unreal! Now as a girl that loves gorgeous long manes and tails its a little dissopointing that Bubbles mane just wont grow at all!Does anyone have any tips/ suffer from the same problem?

Pig Oil encourages mane and tail growth.
Also gives the coat a nice shine.
But be careful when using it in the sun or heat because it can blister.



Don't use too much though as it is very greasy!

I might be wrong but I believe this is an Appy trait and not a lot you do will change it. I read the thread looking for advice for my Sec D mare and will look at the suggestions, so thanks for posting it.

hey! it is an appy trait yes, but i have known a few people who have had appys and they have had lovely manes also he is a cross so his mane should be nicer than it is, even just by a little! hehe, he had a relli rough start to life and i was reading an article somewhere about how this can also affect a horses mane, stress exc can amke the mane grow thin. xx
