With the stud (Langaller Stud) I chose for Hattie.
I rang them on the Weds morning to say Hattie was at the vets and would, in the next week or so, be needing the semen. My vet then told me on the weds night that Hattie was ready to be inseminated Thurs night or Fri.
I rang the stud back to see if they could do either of those days with it being such short notice and they said they could but being the Devon County show it would have to be late Thurs or early Fri.
Vet decided it would be better to do her on Thurs night so parents were sent to pick up the semen at 6 on Thurs. The stud people were stuck in traffic, there was a fire on the road, and the horses in the lorry were getting hotter and hotter.
They could of quite easily said no, can't do it tonight but no, they got changed, got the stallion out, he did his business and parents were on the way home 20mins later.
Absolutely brilliant I was very very impressed. And would really recommend them.
