Has anybody have there dog come down with this, my elderly terrier had an attack last night then another this afternoon?? Im finding it really distrssing and wondering what to do for the best if not improvment?:(

I had to google this, I presume youve seen a vet, what did your vet say?.

According to google it could have several causes inner ear infection etc.

I have no personal experience of it but it must be very frightening for you to witness.

Yer been to the vet twice today, first to check her up after last nights turn as she settled quite quickly after that one, he told me that usually it doesnt occur again and said she had it mildly. She then started another turn so immediatly took her back in the middle of the lastest one so they could see it happening, shes given her some stimulants and got to moniter her for next 24 hours.
From what ive read they can live like it even though they may still have tilted head and some other symptoms carry on. But i wont keep her going if shes having funny turns everyday its not fair and destressing to her. And i owe more to her than that!!
The other thing it could be is something wrong with her brain if it carries on alot, so just hoping for a peacefull 24 hours..:(

Does she have any history of inner ear problems?, a friend of mine had one everyone was convinced he had a brain tumour, he couldnt stand up let alone walk. Did your vet check her ears.?

Sorry I cant be more help but Im just trying to think what I would do in that situation. If I can find any more info I will post unless someone else has first hand experience.

No shes never had any probs with her ears, yer vet checked her ears nothing there. Shes always been very healthy last time she went to the vet for a problem was 2006!! Up untill last night she was still out following horses for over an hour hacks a very good pace a great acheivment for a 15 year old dog.
Will see how things pan out over the next 24 hours now, shes sleeping at the minute so not distressed and will carry her to bed and shes still very wobbly, she seemed much better yesterday after a good nights sleep.
Thankyou for you help.
