After seeing another post about cost of x-rays it's has made me wonder, my horse had x-rays in may and I still haven't had a bill.

I was just wondering can they send it when they want?

Normally I get my bill and pay it straight away but have not had anything for this lot.

I am dreading a fat bill falling through my letter box before Christmas, but on the other hand he had his injections the other week so should be getting a bill for that soon so hopefully it will be on that one.

I usually recieve my bill at the start of the next month. I done work experience at a vets and all the bills were sent out on the same day.

I've just recieved my vets bill from august (colic), which also covers his teeth. Was beginning to wonder.... Will wait to payday to pay it though.

my vet is super fast generally has a bill out within a week of treatment! Not good when you could do with waiting for payday!

I had tons of vet visits and lab tests when I came over here due to a very sick pony. I asked for bills many, many times over the months and only finally got one four months after Toby was put to sleep, which was about eighteen months after the first visit and included jabs etc. and two visits for a nasty puncture wound on another horse so mega antibiotic injections.
Luckily I had warned that if he wouldn't bill me per visit or monthly I would have to pay it off. He's the only vet I've had to virtually beg for a bill. :)

Don't get your hopes up. I also had a HUGE bill for my boy, I was dreading it, about 7 months went by and I too started telling myself that they must have forgotten and stopped worrying about it when BAM I received it :( I had to pay in 6 installments :(

give them a call! It could be that they have the wrong address or that the bills just aren't reaching you (believe me this happens ALOT!). Make sure you ring because if they have been sending invoices and for one reason or not they've not reached you, the practice is perfectly entitled to add interest to your account as they will assume the bill has reached you. If you call and explain i'm sure they won't charge but better to be safe than sorry!
