thanks to everyone who answered my earlier post regarding TED . Had the vet out. His adventure yesterday has left him with a sore back end. So nothing major. Thank god.

With regards to his drastic behaviour change . He doesn't have a clue.. Eyes where checked and fine. Ears ok
He Has suggested a behavior therapist.. I'm not sure
or having a MRI scan to check his brain for a tumor. That scared me....

have the scan

the sore back end isnt the cause - it's the result of yesterday's 'adventure'

it really does sound neurological and for your own safety you should get him scanned asap before riding him again

my own horse had an epileptic fit when I was on him and it was terrifying - he was throwing himself onto the ground ,etc etc - NOT nice and definitely blanketyblank scary

you only have one life - get your horse scanned immediately

I agree with you i think a scan is the next step. Will let you know how he gets on.. Thanks again for taking the time to read and answer. Makes you feel your not alone in these moments of need. xx

To be honest it was the first thing that i thought of ... a tumour.. happened to two horses when i was younger... one riding school pony who started to bolt for home wildly out of control with no regard for safety.... scanned and had a tumour and a friends horse who started to rear and flip backwards..... again the same result :-(

Didnt post yesterday as thought i would be putting too much worry your way... but now vet has said thought I would post....

Good vibes coming your way {{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Just another thought - I think that liver problems can affect behaviour - for example in ragwort poisoning. It may be worth looking up?
