I want to get my loan horse seen by the "back lady", as much for my own peace of mind as anything else. I have the card of a lady that does McTimoney chiro, but on her website it says that i need the consent of my vet before she treats my horse.

Do i need to just phone up my vet and say, i want to call out the back lady, is this OK by you? Or do i actually have to get the vet out to see her first (which would be a bit of a waste of everyone's time, IMHO).

Yes just ring the vet and say I'm going to have a McTimony lady out to see my horse, is that ok? They will probably say yes that's fine

yeah prety much! thats all i say. the receptionist usually says ok il inform the vet!

i dont know why this person is sayin they need vet consent, unless they r just coverin themselves, look it2 the mctimony technique, the college has a website, it is very similar to equine manipulation. i looked into doin this course myself.

they legally have to have consent from the vet i believe. they work closley together as chiropractors are not aloud to "diagnose" a problem and if a vet has been treating it and says no for the mctimmoney to treat then there is nothing the mctimmoney can do.
