Any help would be great!
The mare is around 15 years old, 15.1hh, polo pony. She has been off work for 2 months because one day she suddenly went lame. Her near hind is stiff to the point of lameness, but the vet does not suspect lymphangitis. Her hindquarters are very sensitive to touch, and a massage is very painful for her. Sometimes box rest seems to help, sometimes it makes it worse. Sometimes turnout helps, sometimes it makes it worse. She has been on bute and penicillin.
Any ideas what could be wrong with her?
