Vet fees amount for insurance

Im buying a thoroughbred 10yr 16hh gelding, Im trying to get insurance quotes but I dont know how much to choose when selecting how much vet fees to select i.e £3000 per incident or £5000 etc etc?

I had the same issue, and I asked the vet who came to do the vetting for my boy
He advised us to go for the £5000 per incident option, because although that puts the insurance quote up, it means there is enough to cover such things as a colic operation, which can be up to the full £5000!
