You may have read my post earlier in the week about George's on and off hind leg lameness, I spoke to the vets and they said a couple of days rest would be good and then to see him this a'noon.

It is really weird and even my YM who has seen all sorts of lameness is baffled  Farrier saw him on Tuesday and no pain or obvious bruising in his feet.

He is completely sound in walk and appears to be in no pain at all, no cuts, bumps, heat or swelling on his legs. The first time you trot him up he looks almost 100% sound, but trot him up again and he is obviously lame & it looks like his inside hind, but trot him again and his back legs are all over the place.

I am trying not to worry too much (not easy for me), or conjure up worst case scenarios in my head, I just hope that the vet has some ideas. My boy means the world to me, and it was our 6 year owniversary yesterday :)

Thanks for reading.

Oh bless him! George has been my fave H&H horse since I joined as you and he are very similar to me and your love for him is always so obvious. Sending you best wishes that it will be something really simple to fix and vibes for George, tell him to be brave x

Fingers crossed it's nothing bad. He's one of my favourites too, he's just so lovely.
Hope he's sound again soon so you can celebrate your ownerversary :)

That sounds a lot like mine was in autumn. I was panicking as the lameness came and went and seemed to be in different legs etc. It turned out to be bruising and thin soles.
