Vet near Cardiff....

Hi,

Does anyone know the name of a decent equine vet near Cardiff (well actually near Bridgend) Am looking to get horse vetted and dont just want to use the yellow pages!!!

The owner of the horse has only given me one name who I cant find!!

Any help would be awesome,

Who's name have they given you?

May be worth contacting little_pink_piggies or ISHY as they will have a better idea (I used to live there years ago and used Davey, King and Geddes, there is another one, think his name is Shepherd???). Also think Park Vets in Cardiff are quite good??

Rambling now and prob not much help!!!

I thought she said someone Shepard but not sure and she didnt seem sure either lol so havent really done any googling!!!!

A 4 year old tb mare that has run on the flat twice to hopefully play with for the time being.

On a different note I am SO SO SO SO SO jealous of you over there, we rode to the beach, went in the sea, it was beautiful, esp in the lovely sun today, VERY jealous indeed!!x
 
You're making me so jealous!! I used to be able to hack to the beach and really miss it (used to go thro the dunes at Merthyr Mawr)......now stuck in the middle of England with not even a sniff of the sea nearby!!!!

OMG.........I used to ride there when I was a teenager!! He was a dealer then.....certainly taught me how to stay on!!!!

Its not a problem, thats where I was today, couldnt believe how lovely it was. Shall be looking a house prices now lol x
 
Ring Park Vets and ask Alun Brown to do the vetting. Failing that Lee Paul of Bushy's. However, Alun may ride the horse himself - so that may be of use to you....

Agree, another vote for Allan Brown (of Hair Raisers fame) - vetted a horse at mny place a few weeks ago and I thought he was very professional, thorough without being neurotic
