Vet Nr Maidstone

I would second that about Bell Equine, they are well known for not passing horses, they ALWAYS find a fault and fail them - they vet them too hard and not for the purpose they are going to be used for. I would be keen to hear if your horse passes, but i would bet money that it wont.
I would use Peter Brown from Newnham Court or Howard Newitt from Cinque Ports, both very good vets and sensible when it comes to vettings !!!

I would touch Bell Equine with a barge pole !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used them for years. I have sold horses that they have vetted and they have vetted horses for me. I have not had any problems with them and have found them to be very thorough but fair and sensible . But that is my experience with them. Good luck !:)

Some interesting comments. I have always found Bell Equine to give exemplary service, and they have been very good whether I have been buying or selling. Interestingly, I would never use Newnham Court for anything horse related, having seen them several times at various yards. Also, anything more than a routine jab, and they refer it to Bell Equine anyway!

Everything I have asked Bell Equine to vet for me has passed.

Definately Peter Brown at Newnham Court. They nursed a horse on my yard through a fractured leg a few years ago, reurning him to total soundness as well as various other illnesses / operations and I have NEVER known them refer anyone to Bell Equine!! An excellant practise, excellant care for the horses and also excellant care for the owner too. Oh, and you can always get to speak to a vet from the practise within a few minutes 24 hours a day.
