Vet or Physio??

One of the foals has had leading problems as she was wild when she turned up thought it was down to this but after doing alot of work with her have found she is tender in the pole/neck area. she normally has a foal leather head collar on when leading her, her ears go back and she rears if you tight circle her right she is does the same and trys to walk sides ways, on a left circle she is fine. Yesterday i changed head collars with a very padded one over the top she was a diffrent foal to lead ears forward etc. She has been ill treaded before we had her so would it be best to get vet or physio out? thank you

I would get vet first, they can then refer you to a physio if needed. Most physios won't see a horse that has a new symptom if it hasn't been seen by the vet first.

As I am a vet physio I would advise vet first who will then refer you if need be to a physio. It should always be this way round.

thank you, will get them out again, this foal has seen the vet more times in 2 mths than my last boy did in two years
