vet recommendations - Kent sevenoaks area

I used James Sutton at Culverden in TWells to vet all three of my horses and would recommend him in a heartbeat if he's not too far away - pragmatic but no pushover and will tell you what you NEED to no, not some abstract idea of a horse passing or failing a vetting.

where is tony warr based?

overwhelming vote for bell equine - i hope they have a good rep as i am wary of big vet practices not being totally thorough - they have more than enough clients to keep them going and dont need my money! Im terrified of buying another horse with a soundness issue, ( ive had really bad luck ) and i fell in love with a horse before i googled the dealer, but am trying to keep an open mind and i really, really like the horse! he felt sound enough, just weak behind, esp when trotted on the road...

am trying really, really hard not to get my hopes up, but i need a good vet who even if he doesnt need my money will do a really thorough job!! hes not worth a huge amount, but i would want them to know their confo/etc so potentially flag future problems as i hope this one is a keeper!

Tony Warr is based Pembury way (he has recently set up on his own), I think he has a web site (google his name). He works on his own now, but as he events himself he is a good choice to look over a sports horse as he knows what demands will be made on him/her.
