Vet research on post-ulcer horses

Does anyone know of any research that has been done on horses that have been treated for gastric or hind gut ulcers? It would be interesting to hear any evidence on these horses' ability to cope with work and the influence of factors such as changes in grass or stressful circumstances. I've looked at various FB groups, but they all seem to be based on people trying to sell you something!
Equally I'd be happy to contribute anecdotal information to anyone that is studying this topic.
