I did have a sneaky follow on Facebook of the exotic vets you used. A tortoise is exotic enough, but recently they successfully treated Snaily the giant African land snail when his stomach had prolapsed out of his mouth .

Fascinating stuff.

So pleased she's made it through, though yipes for the bill - Dougal did cost over £500 for one night at the vets and a feeding tube, but bear in mind she will still probably
out live you, so on a rate per year is value for money
