Veteran feeds

I have a 19 year old wb gelding who is fit and healthy in every way (teeth are good etc) and a good doer, is out full time in the summer with just a multivit supplement, and stabled at night in winter with haylage and a small feed of speedibeet, alfa a oil and multivit.

Should I be feeding him as a 'veteran'? Opinions please, and on which veteran feeds you would recommend.

Nope! I have a 19 year old as well, fit and healthy and just fed Fast Fibre and Speedi-beet all year with a supplement of magnesium oxide for his barefeet

not unless you feel you need to change from your current regime. if he's doing well don't change anything!

Thanks, that's the way I feel but I have never had a 'veteran' before. Although actually he acts more like a 3 year old at times!
