Right I have a conundrum.
My boy will be 24 in January. So apparently this is the last year I can insure him. This is annoying me slightly as he is perfectly healthy ( other than being old) I haven't claimed my insurance in five years for anything as he hasn't hurt himself ( we are injury only anyway) and he is still rideable and perky.
So which, if any, companies are willing to insure injury only after 25? I don't find this a fair thing to cut people off from a safety net just because their horse is doing a job and enjoying life in a healthy way. I know not having it will keep me awake at night. I feel like us veteran owners are being punished for our horses living beyond this age.
Any help??
