My old Donkey is on A+P old faithfuls, and apple chaff, would it be to much to put him on Veteran Chaff as well as the Old faithfuls?? I just want to be sure the old git gets everything he needs

I use Veteran Mollichaff with my old boy Arab, he loves it, it smells great with all the goodies it has in it and I would say its made a great difference in his eating this winter

Veteran Mollichaff is fab - all our oldies have it as it has all the vits and mins etc they need as well as linseed - so nice shiny coats - but is aslo 'soft' so easy for them to eat - the oldest here is 37 - 38 this year - and it makes sure his fibre levels are kept up as he struggles to get through enough hay. He just gets a trug in his field shelter to munch on through the night - also gets old faithful.

Another vote for Veteran chaff. Fabulous stuff and smells so good I wish I was a horse! Practically every livery horse on my yard has had a feed of my horse's Veteran Chaff for one reason or another and it disapperas in no time. It's packed full of herbs and antioxidants and (I think) is very very lightly oiled so do check the calories.
