Ye the ex-racer at our yard is retired and he is 17 -22 yrs, I recomend devils claw its a herbal liquid supplement and does'nt cause any liver damage ect.. you can buy it at most tack shops

well done for keeping a elderly horse!! not many people do !!

i used devils releif for my mare as it contains no bute and worked at treat with her. you cant feed it to pregnant mares though. i was payin £16ish per bottle from local feed supplier and it lasts a while. the first bottle wont as you have to use high dose for first 3 days to get into the system! its by NAF if you want to look at the website. you can still give bute antibiotics etc whilst feedin this to!

I have been using Newmarket Joint supplement, and it made a big difference to Chex (he's 25). I'm trying Pernamax just now, but if it isn't better then I'll go back to the newmarket one. Its a bit pricey, but not ridiculous.

was using superflex too, not as expensive as all that when you break it down to daily amounts, tub lasted about 3 months/ 4 months.
am using suppleaze gold at the moment because i got about3 months free supply, but horse (2o yr) is a bit clicky at the mo, so am going back to naf
