Has anybody had any dealings with these guys before? Ie had to make a claim due to negligence?

We used to have them contact us when I worked at the vets

Yes, I believe that they act as the insurance advisors for most vets.....

Perhaps if anyone has claimed through them before they could PM me?

When I worked for a vet, the Veterinary Defence Society acted for any vet who had a claim against them.
