Vets and navicular RE H&H article

. What prehistoric rock has he been hiding under?

Shame on you, HHO, for publishing such a misleading piece!

obviously a very large rock that is squashing his capacity to think!

I agree shame on HHO. Can't they at least publish a balanced article?

*facepalm*

Or you end up ignoring both farrier and vet and taking shoes off and getting help from online sources and contact leading to meeting real life people for support.

Bang bl**dy head. I'll tell my two 12 year recovered barefoot ex navicular 22 year old they're too delicate to trot and canter on the lanes, they'll have a very different response.

Owners have no hope whilst vets spout this twaddle. It leaves them alone and scared, having to take a leap of faith if they really want to cure the syndrome.

Stone Age thinking.

I've left them some lovely little links on their fb page below that particular article in the hopes of interested parties following them rather than reading it. I did think about further trying to argue the point but then I thought that facts and figures I'd linked to from the Rockley blog a few years ago may be a bit more eloquent than me!

Good work!

How can barefoot continue to be ignored? There are huge numbers of people now with performing barefoot horses.

He's a youngish looking guy, co director of a practice offering "Good old fashioned veterinary services" according to the little introductory video on their website. Old fashioned for sure! Very irresponsible to be spouting the old "remedial farriery"/steroids line, with no mention of the fact that most "navicular" is caused by bad farriery in the first place. Sigh.

"Old fashioned" and "veterinary" are not words you want to see together when it comes to medicine.

Would you go to an "old fashioned hospital?"
