Well the good news is he is no worse following his little "escapade" on Sunday. He is now much more sound in walk on concrete but still lame in trot. The staples have now come out of his leg and the new x-rays have shown the bone is healing slowly but surely. He's got to do another 2 weeks on box rest
then they'll xray him again.
Thankfully they have upped his ACP dosage so we may survive the next two weeks without him killing someone. We're now looking at him then going to a rehab centre for a little while.
So sort of positive news but this has definitely been our first lesson in the down side of horse ownership!
