Vets bill. Feel at bit unhappy.

Only posting in the hope this helps. I had a similar situation last autumn with the vet even offering to take £1000 off the cost of removing the eye. Seeing as the injury happened because of his declining soght in both eyes. I stuck to my plan and him PTS. A different vet did it and it went fine on the day. But like you I could have done without being 2nd guessed. We know our horses and we make the right decisions.

You begin to wonder what on earth they are thinking .As horse owners we know our animals well and what is in their best interests I had been thinking about what might happen from the moment the squamous cell carcinoma was diagnosed and knew what I was prepared to allow to be done yet still had to stand firm and say NO. Nothing makes you feel worse than having to hold your ground on putting and animal to sleep
