Hi all,

Have done a google search but its not really coming up with anything and I'd rather get word of mouth recommendations if possible!

I'm looking for an equine vet in the Glasgow/Stirling area, many thanks!

I've used CLyde and they are good. I've used Bishopbriggs vets and McKenzie, Bryson & Marshall in Kilmarnock, although haven't used them since Andy Mathews retired. I haven't heard good things about Struthers.

Hi

Another vote for Andrew McDiarmid @ Clyde Valley, have twice requested referrals to him for lameness issues and he has been spot on

Thanks so much for your replies!

I'd like to stay anonymous on here, but unfortunately I would think Lanark is a bit far away (I'm thinking in cases of emergency etc), I'm on the Stirling side of Glasgow ;)

Will have a look in to the other ones, names of vets to stay away from are always useful too haha :)

Equine Vet Clinic in Houston are excellent and have really good facilities.

I have used them in the past, and would use them again, but am currently using local village veterinary practice as it's much more cost effective (no call out if you can hack horse along to Saturday morning surgery ;)).

Grahams Road Veterinary Clinic in Falkirk might go out that far
