Vet came out to Ellie on 1st July, recieved bill a few weeks after and paid up.

I have recieved a bill today for £34 for an reviewed bill.

Can they do this? Well obviously they have, but should I pay it or tell them to shove it?

i have had that 6 months later, but it was an insurance claim bill so just put it through the insurance and they paid it.

was really annoyed though and had it been out of my pocket i would probably argued it

What exactly is the extra £34 for??

It's for Norodine granules which I presume are antibiotics. Am trying to find the original bill, but how can they just realise they didn't bill me for them originally

Call them and ask them why this has happened and explain you'd already settled what you thought was the final bill for this particular visit and treatment.

See what they say. You'll soon gauge whether they're pulling a fast one or if it's a genuine over sight. Bit careless though, even if it is the latter.

Hi - I work in a practice were the Vets frequently forget to add things to clients accounts & if the account has been invoiced then we usually won't send out a reviewed invoice, The vets get a kick up the btm from the scarey practice manager & they don't do it again. I'd have word with them, if I was in your position. D

I work at a vets also and although we try not to send follow on bills out, sometimes its unavoidable..... we have a new rule that we will only send them out if it is within a calender month of the treatment... this is due to the number of complaints we received from unhappy clients! If i were you i'd ring up and have a moan and they'll prob just write the money off your account, its not worth them losing a client over thirty quid!
