Platt & Murrell, Both equine orthapeadic specialists - do a lot of referrel work from other practices but also have a direct client base - absolutley fantastic and based at Sandon just the other side of Chelmsford. Will pm you their number.
Another big vote for Platt & Murrell. To be honest, House & Jackson over the past year have really not been great with the vets they have sent out, hence why I won't use them any more and have gone to Platt & Murrell, even though my call out is £60 as I am right on the edge of their travelling range (luckily I don't often need them). Mark Murrell is a really nice person and wonderful with my young horses and David is a vet god.
Several of my friends are with Paton and Lee and think they are really good. 2 liveries on our yard use them and I and another livery use Taylor and Lee in Sudbury.
I've never heard a bad word against them, both vets are well recommended
another vote for platt and murrel especially david he helped my girly when she had laminitis when another vet said she didnt have it he was great and had a speedy recovery from then on, also david has just done an OP on my other girly he was great with my questions and at explaining my options and outcomes.
ive had bad experiences with clarendon house and house and jackson!
