Vets in Essex

Hi all,
anyone know of good vets in essex? Have used 'House & Jackson' before wanted to know what people thought of them and if people could suggest better.

I have heard mixed reports on House and Jackson.

I love Platt and Murrell, and wouldn't let anyone else touch my horse. Without them, she wouldn't be here.
 
Highly recommend Paton and Lee - especially Tony Lock and Jonathon Lee.
Have been brilliant with my horse over the years and his many injuries!!!
 
Im with blair court now after being with paton and lee for about ten years plus. i have patrick he saved my horses life so in my believe best vet in the world
 
im with house & jackson, been with them for about 5 years now, never had any problems, my mare had to stay with them for two weeks and I was very happy with her care.
 
I use Platt & Murell. They are not cheap but are very good. Mark is a lovely chap and David is excellent, albeit with not the greatest bedside manner - used to dealing with professionals rather than folks with pets I think. He finally got to the root of my mare's problems after several years of other vets treating hocks when it was the back.

House & Jackson used to be very good, but seem to have gone downhill in the past couple of years in the opinon of people I know who have used in them in the past. Vets seem to be young and inexperienced in general.
 
I use H&J but always ask for a senior vet, unless its an emergency when I don't quibble, they have always done well by my horses.
 
Thanks very much for the replys i will have a look into all the vets :-) The time i had 'H & J' out the girl who treated my boy was very young, just left vet college :-S
 
I use two vets as one of my horses just does not like my favourite vet! I have had my horse with Barn Equine from the day they started up through many traumas and Andy has always been brilliant and turned up night and day. Likewise Platt & Murrell although Mr Platt does not suffer fools gladly ;-)! But a fab vet.

My other horse is with Paton and Lee and again they have been good. So you are lucky as we have some real good vets in this area.
 
I use Blaircourt and highly recommend

I also highly recomend them and will only use them
