vets in exeter area

my friends put a deposit on a horse in the exeter area,would anyone be able to recommend a good vet who would be able to do a vetting for her ?
also if anyone knows of somone who could transport him back to dorset as my lorry is of the road

St Davids Farm and Equine are good - they have a website if you google it.

Western Counties do vettings as well. They're one of the major referral practices in the area. Further west toward Okehampton, North Park Vet Group do vettings - 2 equine vets in a mixed practice and I'd have to say they're good, but you could call me quite biased...

Ha ha, wishful's partner was here yesterday!
I can't recommend North Park vets highly enough but they may be too far away for your purpose.
St David's Equine based at Nutwell Court Event site are excellent as are Western Counties as Wishful has said.
If she wants a proper "Equine" vet use mine from North Park, he is very thorough and you can feel totally confident when he vets one. pm me for his name.
